i had been wanting colorful kitchen towels for awhile when i found this multipack at kohls. (thank you, food network/bobby flay!)

i embellished them with fabric scraps for fun. i did some simple stripes, raw edge flowers, and a bit of patchwork. i didn't really plan anything out...just winged it.
it was an easy way to practice some sewing skills without stressing too much. and i like the handmade touch.

plus, hanging one or two with our other more neutral towels adds a fun pop of color to the kitchen.
I really like your embellishments! I need to do that. Sometimes I get too caught up on the "big" projects when what you did would give me so much everyday pleasure!
