Grrrrrrr.
I am SO, SO, SO frustrated.
I've been working on the cutest t-shirt today.
Seriously...I was so excited to get it done so I could show you.
(And so I could wear it!)
(And so I could wear it!)
But as I was sewing on my applique (which I have never done before), I jammed my machine. My mistake ended up causing irreparable damage.
Now I have to buy a new shirt and start all over.
I plan on sulking for at least another hour...
...then maybe I'll make something with the purple knit that's now in the scrap bin. :)
hahaha i love this...i have craft fails all the time so i'm glad i'm not the only one! thanks for sharing ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's true, most of us don't post our fails. Way to be brave! Sorry, though, that really stinks!!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you for sending me that Harry Potter shirt. I love it! Sorry this is so late.
ReplyDeleteOh I hate when a project goes wrong!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the fail! I haven't tried to satin stitch an applique, just raw edge stitch it. But the only applique I have stitched is designed to be raw edge... can't wait to see your project when you get it! Try, try again!
ReplyDeleteHate it when projects fail!! :/ good luck on the next one!!
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and pout, yo, then go get a really tasty treat, take a deep breath, and start again. Look on the bright side - you've got fun stretchy purple material for your next braided headband/embellishment (think how cool that would look on a collar? Or as a belt?)!!!
ReplyDeleteoh, ps, I've only ever done applique by hand, and oh boy would your situation totally frustrate me!!!
