scarves and sweaters...

pumpkin muffins with cream cheese frosting...

football games...

halloween candy...

pumpkin carving...

trick-or-treaters...

i think fall must be my favorite season. and spring. both favorites. since i'm cold blooded, i guess i just appreciate temperate weather. not too hot, not too cold...juuuust right. i love throwing on some light layers and being perfectly comfortable inside and out.

on friday afternoon, the hubby and i ventured out to visit the BYU museum of art and run a few errands. i was so happy in my fall outfit, we had to take a picture.

the exhibits were fun, but the best view was outside. all the foliage around campus was showing its autumn color, the weather was gorgeous, and i had perfect company! it was such a lovely afternoon...

...i'll try to remember it tomorrow.

the forcast is calling for a high of 40 degrees and SNOW! i'm certainly not ready for winter--all iced over and frigid. besides, it seems like fall just got here. i mean, couldn't it hold off until after halloween, at least?

sigh.

i'll miss you dearly, temperate weather. hopefully, i'll see you in the spring.
