if you haven't ever checked out etsy.com, you really need to. seriously, where have you been? it's the place to buy and sell all things handmade, you know?
i've been a buyer on etsy for quite some time now...i've purchased collages, necklaces, brooches, etc. i frequently login to drool over the abundant mass of creativity that is etsy. but i'm soon to be a seller as well! today i've been working on setting up shop--a banner, shop policies, shipping information, etc. it's a lot of work. how much do cardboard mailers cost? what do i do if someone from ireland wants to buy a painting? should i allow returns? can i mail chalk pastel drawings without them being smeared to death? what if the plane carrying a purchased artwork crashes into the ocean and ends up on an island with a lone man who's bff is a volleyball? so many details to work out...
not to mention, i need to crank out some artwork.
i'll let you know when i have work for sale...so exciting!!!
