i'm not a bracelet person...

in fact, the only bracelet i own is one i had to wear as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding like 5 years ago.

i'm always drawing or painting or sewing or whatever...and it bugs me to have things sliding up and down my arm while i'm trying to work.

but...
i saw this rose cuff bracelet tutorial and couldn't resist!

this pink/white version just screams spring, but i think it would be fun to try out different color combos, too.

making it was super fast and easy...just felt, velcro, dollar store fake flowers, pearl beads, and hot glue. and i made the cuff small enough that it doesn't slide around on my arm, so i guess i'm going to give this bracelet thing a whirl!

on an unrelated note, i tried two more new recipes--bowtie chicken caesar salad and baked creamy chicken taquitos. both were a BIG hit at our house.
