out with the old...in with the new...

on new year's eve, brandon and i said goodbye to my li'l gold sentra. she was the only car i'd ever had. i drove her for nearly 9 years--all through high school, college, and the first 2.5 years of my teaching career. but due to some engine troubles, the cost of repairs was potentially more than the entire car is actually worth. so i kissed her goodbye...
...and said hello to Ruby! We were soooooooooo blessed to find an awesome deal on a red 2007 Toyota Rav4. She's only got about 14500 miles on her and is in excellent condition. It was scary to make such a big purchase (especially since we hadn't been planning to trade my car in for a few more years), but this car will be safer, more reliable, and lots of fun!
